Step 1

Cook the hash brown bites according to the packet instructions until golden and crisp. If your hash brown bites are quite large, roughly chop them in half once cooked so they’re easier to layer into the pots.

Notes

  • Chicken sausages: Can be subbed for pork or turkey sausages if preferred but nutrition will change. If the skins come away easily, simply remove them. If they’re a bit stubborn, slice down the sausages, remove what you can and use slightly damp hands to break the sausage meat up. You can also chop them into pieces

  • Hash browns: Any small hash brown bites or mini hash browns will work. If yours are quite large, chop them in half after cooking so they fit into the pots and are easier to eat. I get mine from Tesco.

  • Scrambled eggs: Keep the heat low and stop cooking while the eggs are still slightly soft. This is particularly important if you’re meal prepping them, as the eggs will cook a little further when reheated.

  • Serving: Ketchup, hot sauce or brown sauce all work well added after reheating
