You can use low-cal cooking spray, but I prefer a little neutral oil for that super-crispy coating. For a leaner option, use just the egg white instead of a whole egg and reduce the cornflour by 10 g, lightly dusting the beef before cooking. If your beef strips are quite thick, slice them thinner so they crisp up evenly. You can also crack the egg straight into the beef instead of dipping separately if you prefer less fuss.

Forgot to take photo however it don't really work out correctly. They didn't go crispy at all and just ended up like steak slices in the sauce

10/10 fakeaway. Quick and easy to make, the sauce was sticky and delicious and the beef was nice and crispy using the air fryer method. Will definitely be having this one again 🤤
