Slow Cooker Chicken Balti

Nothing says warm and cosy like a homemade curry bubbling away in the slow cooker. It's rich, spicy with tender chunks of chicken. You can adjust the spice to suit your taste and I've popped how to do it on the hob if you don't have a slow cooker!

Forgot to take a picture when I made this but it was so good that I froze portions for future so a picture of a frozen portion will have to do! It was the MOST delicious curries I’ve had! Definitely will be making this on repeat!

More meal prepping for the week. Makes life easier as I work 12 hour shifts and my partner doesn’t but takes our dog out when he’s home. Cooking ahead and freezing like this makes our life’s easier so we can eat good tasty home cooked food in minutes. I always double the recipe and cook for 4 rather than 2 so we have a portion for another week.

Delicious! It was a little watery so next time I’ll leave the lid off for a bit longer.

Great plan, Lauren! Leaving the lid off at the end should help thicken it up nicely. I'm so glad you enjoyed it; happy cooking on your next go!
