I usually buy pre diced beef from Tesco. While there’s a lean option available, I recommend using the regular diced beef for slow cooking, it adds more flavour and stays juicier after cooking. Leaner cuts can dry out more in the slow cooker, but if you do use them, just keep an eye on it during the final hour to avoid overcooking.
