Cozy Chicken Stew with Two-Ingredient 'Dumplings'

For me nothing is more cozy than snuggling up with a bowl full of chicken stew. This stew is topped with homemade two ingredients ‘dumplings’. Hearty enough on it’s own, but you can have with some creamy mash or some crusty bread for dunking. I've also listed a hob version below if you want to give it a go and the nutrition information without the 'dumplings'

I’m using chicken breasts, but would you say to still add them an hour and A half before finishing if I’m cooking on low or would be be better on high ? 🙂

Was really tasty!! So quick to prep too. I did feel the serving portion was a little small (im a greedy twat) think with some extra veg aswell itd be better! Definitely making it again

Hi Olivia! I'm glad you enjoyed the stew! Adding extra veggies is a fantastic idea to bulk it up.

Left it in the slow cooker for too long because we were out however the meat was so tender and delicious! Never had dumplings before and put them in the slow cooker but ended up putting them under the grill for colour and they tasted good! My fussy boyfriend also ate it all! The filling would also be good in a pie!, have leftovers and would make again!
