Notes

I use authentic Korean gochujang paste from a tub, which tends to be spicier and more intense than many supermarket versions. You can usually find this in the world food aisle, or grab it from Amazon. If you’re using a milder paste, you may want to add a little more to taste. If you’re sensitive to heat, start with slightly less and adjust after cooking.

Rice brands can vary slightly. Cook until the rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed. If needed, drain any excess liquid before stirring through the cheese.

My partner liked it but compared to other recipes iv tried (which are unreal) this one didn’t quite hit the spot. Not much flavour, think there was too much water advised for the rice and the sauce didn’t really work or go sticky like advises. Her other recipes though are AMAZING
