I use authentic Korean gochujang paste from a tub, which tends to be spicier and more intense than many supermarket versions. You can usually find this in the world food aisle, or grab it from Amazon. If you’re using a milder paste, you may want to add a little more to taste. If you’re sensitive to heat, start with slightly less and adjust after cooking.

I low key thought this sounded like it was gonna be gross with the cheesy rice/gochujang combo BUT I trusted the process becos you’ve never let us down yet and I can confirm this is a certified banger!!! 😋 it goes so well, 10/10, game changer, don’t think I can have rice without cheese ever again
