To reduce the calories, skip the bacon or use bacon medallions instead of streaky bacon. Skip the breadcrumb coating and simply season the chicken before air frying. The burger will still have plenty of flavour from the garlic parmesan sauce.

Turkey bacon or bacon medallions can be used instead of streaky bacon if preferred.
Mature cheddar or mozzarella can be added for an extra cheesy burger if you'd like.
The garlic parmesan sauce can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge until needed.
