Notes

No BBQ seasoning? Use an extra ½ tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp garlic granules, ½ tsp onion granules and ½ tsp dried oregano instead.

To make your own quick pickled onions, combine equal parts distilled vinegar and warm water with a pinch of salt, then add thinly sliced red onion and leave to pickle for at least 30 minutes.

  • Swap Little Gem for romaine or iceberg lettuce if preferred

  • To make it lighter, you can skip the garlic butter on the flatbreads, the rest is still tasty!

  • Crispy onions are optional but add great crunch
