Toad in the Hole

A proper British comforting classic. Fluffy golden Yorkshire pudding batter wrapped around crisp, juicy sausages… I like to serve mine with some potatoes, some greens and onion gravy! But it’s just as filling with some veggies on the side.

Notes

You can swap to chicken sausages or turkey for a higher protein version. You can sub 10g of the plain flour for 10g of unflavoured protein powder too. You can reheat this in the air-fryer or oven at 180°C for 5-6 mins to crisp back up. For a little festive version, you can wrap the sausage in bacon before baking.
