Do you need to sear the chicken? - searing the chicken does give it extra flavour, but if you can't be bothered (like me here) it still tastes gorgeous! No slow cooker? In a Dutch oven or deep pan - sear the chicken first, and add all of the ingredients afterwards. Simmer on low heat for 45-60 minutes. Follow the remaining steps. Oven - set to 150 degrees Celsius. Bake in an oven proof dish for 2-3 hours, checking occasionally to ensure the sauce doesn't dry out. If you don't want to cook it for too long, you can just pan fry the chicken and shred it yourself for a speedier option too.

Really enjoyed this and so did my partner. Cooked the pulled chicken in advance and the noodles on the day.

Lovely meal! Nice and easy to make! I’d be interested to see what they taste like with other noodles too!

Could definitely experiment with rice noodles or other noodles for a different texture and flavor. Just adjust the cooking time to ensure they don't overcook! xx
