Slow Cooker Lazy Lasagne

All the comforting flavours of a classic lasagne with none of the layering or fuss. A rich beef ragù is slow cooked until tender before broken lasagne sheets are stirred through and finished with a creamy cheese topping and melted mozzarella. Step 1

Browning the beef is optional, but it adds extra flavour. If browning, heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat, lightly spray with oil and brown the beef mince, breaking it up as it cooks.

Notes

  • Browning the beef is optional, but it gives the richest flavour. If you're short on time, you can add the raw mince straight to the slow cooker just break it up well when stirring.

  • Don't worry if the sauce looks a little loose before adding the pasta the lasagne sheets will absorb plenty of liquid as they cook.

  • If the sauce thickens too much after the pasta has cooked, stir through a splash of hot water.

  • Swap the beef mince for turkey or chicken mince
