Start by seasoning the paneer with the smoked paprika and cumin. Add in the yoghurt, tikka paste and mix well. Leave to marinate (even 10 minutes makes a difference).

Paneer is a mild Indian cheese made from curdled milk. It has a firm texture similar to halloumi, but it’s softer and much less salty. Unlike most cheeses, paneer doesn’t melt, which makes it perfect for frying and soaking up flavours like tikka spices and marinades. If you don’t like paneer, you can simply swap to halloumi. You can use any wraps you like, I tend to grab the protein ones just to boost it ever so slightly.

Love paneer and this recipe was lush! I made up a curry flavoured rice to go with it.
