Wow this was amazing I should have let the sauce thicken a bit more but apart from that it was lovely hubby and kids loved it so will be making again

Sounds like you and the family had a great meal! If you want a thicker cheese sauce, try letting it cook for another minute or too or use whole milk instead of semi-skimmed to speed it up. Glad it was enjoyed by all!

Meal prepping for work is something I do all the time because I work 12 hour shifts. I had a run of nights last week and as the time of my break is never guaranteed and this was amazing as a pre work meal. Kept me full and gave me a nice cosy vibe with the weather changing too.
