Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Start by preheating the oven to 190°C (fan) / 210°C (conventional). Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper and the peri-peri seasoning. Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 16-17 minutes, or until cooked through. Once cooked, shred using two forks and set aside. Alternatively air fry at 190°C for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.

Notes

This soup has a warm heat to it. If you are sensitive to spice, start with 1 tbsp pf peri sauce and increase as needed. Equally, I find the Nandos marinades are a lot less spicier than the sauces. This makes 2 large portions, for smaller bowls split into 4.
