In a bowl, season the chicken with garam masala, paprika, curry powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the chopped garlic along with the yoghurt. Stir to coat, and set aside to marinate while you start the rice.
Optional but you can blend the sauce until smooth, then return it to the pan and stir in the cream. Warm through gently.

Hi Toni! Absolutely, you can cook the curry sauce and chicken together in a slow cooker. I suggest after sautéing the onions, garlic, and spices, transfer everything including pre-seared chicken to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4–6 hours. You might not even need stock; the slow release of juices should be plenty. Just stir in the cream towards the end to avoid any splitting. Enjoy!
