Notes

Subs:
For a higher-protein version, you can add mince. Use 250g lean beef or turkey mince and reduce to 1 tin black beans (for 4 servings). Cook the mince with the onion at the start until browned, then continue with the recipe as written. You may need a small splash of water if the sauce thickens too much.

Extras:
Serve with tortilla chips for crunch, add sliced jalapeños for heat, sweetcorn for a bit of sweetness and texture
